Exterior Design:

The front fascia looks unmistakably Ford-like, much like the headlights as well. One can see the Ford logo clearly in the black grille, to give a sense of American pride. Engine and Performance:

FWD (Front Wheel Drive) is standard on the first three variants, although AWD (All Wheel Drive) is an option at an extra price. ST, the top variant, gets AWD as part of standard equipment.

Except the ST, all other trims are powered by a 2-liter EcoBoost engine that belts out 250 hp of power and 275 lbs.-ft of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

The ST gets a more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost, responsible for thrusting 335 hp of power and 380 lbs.-ft of torque, with power being delivered via a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Interior Design:

The biggest change from 2020 in the latest avatar is the addition of the 12 inch SYNC4 touchscreen infotainment system. Navigation is optional for this system. Voice Recognition technology here is advanced enough to locate the best dine-in restaurant in a particular area. A Wi-Fi hotspot has also been made available on models of the Edge.

The standard audio system on this vehicle gets six speakers. However, the more powerful Bang & Olufsen premium setup comes with 12 speakers.

More number of USB ports have been added to the 2021 Ford Edge, with passengers benefiting from a total of 4 ports. Buyers will also enjoy looking at the new ceramic interior trim option. Some of the other new features include:
